STANDARD FLOW PATH
Provided the SUPADIVERTA outlets and fittings are higher than a tanks inlet strainer, rainwater can be diverted to a tank via the standard flow path and using 25mm polypipe will SAVE PLUMBING COSTS.
Harvest either one or both of the 2nd and 3rd priority outlets to the tank's meshed inlet.
When harvesting to a tank's top inlet, fit the 25mm polypipe outlet with a 90 degree elbow to prevent splash.
1mm OF WATER PER 1 SQUARE METRE = 1 LITRE.
ALTERNATIVE FLOW PATH
FULL VOLUME SYPHONIC DRAINAGE CAN EFFICIENTLY TRANSFER WATER TO A TANK VIA THE TANKS BOTTOM INLET/OUTLET. TANKS CAN BE ORDERED OR RETRO-FITTED WITH ADDITIONAL OUTLETS.
Use 19mm or 25mm poly pipe and the appropriate fittings to connect SUPADIVERTA to the tanks gate valve. For high volume flow or when diverting over longer distances, the use of horizontal 40 mm or 50 mm PVC pipe is recommended. Tanks should be fitted with the correct sized gate valves although a 40/25 PVC reducing joiner can be used to resize PVC pipe to 1” gate valves.
This alternative flow path is particularly cost effective when the tank is sited away from the downpipe or house, is neater and often allows the siting of a taller, larger capacity tank!
Additional information and flow rate tables can be found under SYPHONIC FLOW.
